When to/not to resole Tramping Boots

Do not repair if they have any issues on this list

  1. Soft or crumbly midsoles
  2. Over 8yrs old with ployurethane midsoles
  3. Uncomfy, too small or giving blisters.
  4. Cracked uppers

Repair tramping boots when they meet all of the list below

  1. The midsole is firm all the way around both. With no crumbling
  2. They only need the bottom rubber layer replaced. Approx 10mm think.
  3. You can't buy a replacement pair for c$200.
